Student of the Year
Reese Wesley was nominated and won Student of the Year for many obvious reasons. Reese is a model student and leader. She is intrinsically motivated and is always looking for opportunities to learn. Her leadership qualities include volunteering to help teachers, peers, and primary grade students with handwriting. Reese is a part of EBRPSS Talented Drama program while maintaining high academic standards, grades, and scores. She is highly respected and regarded by her peers and former teachers. This is why Reese Wesley is our SOY!
The Raptor Rehab unit came to visit Mrs. Crockett's Kindergarten gifted class following their Owls Unit. The LSU Vet School brought 3 raptors to Wildwood in order to give kids a chance to be up close with 3 different birds! Want your family to experience this as well? Visit the LSU Vet School for Open House on January 26 to see the raptors and other animals!
The Kindergarten and 1st Grade Gifted Resource Students have been studying Bats. As a culminating project, students decided to build a Bat House to help create an additional habitat for our mosquito eating neighbors! Look for our finished bat house at family night in the 4th grade room!
